Since 1971, SCA has been serving the needs of the community, providing a Christian, child-centered, and developmental program for children Pre-school (age 2) through grade 5. Sunrise Christian Academy is sponsored by Sunrise Presbyterian Church. We are open to children of all races, faiths, ethnic backgrounds, and nationalities.
Philosophy
Sunrise Christian Academy provides a loving and caring atmosphere in which each child is encouraged to develop as a unique person with a positive self-image. The school nurtures all aspects of the child's growth: social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. As a church-sponsored school, we seek to reflect Christian values in all our activities. We endeavor to provide opportunities for the child to experience God's love and a life of wholeness.

A reminder to everyone who has preschool or elementary aged children, knows anyone with preschool or elementary aged children, or has preschool or elementary aged grandchildren - Sunrise Christian Academy is now taking applications for placement in the 2011-2012 school year! We serve children ages 2 through the 5th grade in a loving, Christian environment and have done so for almost 30 years. Pass the word and help SCA grow!
Information is available by calling the office (305-821-5841) between 9am and 3pm, Mon - Fri. We accept McKay and Step Up for Students scholarships as well as CDS vouchers. We offer VPK for all 4 year olds (4 on or before Sept. 1, 2011). Sunrise church members receive a discount on tuition.
Reservations for a fun-filled summer at Camp Sunrise are also being taken. Come for a week, come for a few days, come for the whole summer. Bible themed activities each week that are sure to please. In house field trips and special events.
